The pandemic’s impact has been especially disheartening for women entrepreneurs as the number of female business owners dropped from 5.4 million to 4 million between February and April, according to a study by Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research.
Still, female business owners are resilient, innovative, and trendsetting—even in the midst of a pandemic. They are moving beyond just surviving and reinventing themselves to thrive again. And they’re still passionate about culture, work-life balance, the environment, and making an impact.
